Monitoring Your Health with the Newest Technology

Q: Dear Elena: I would like to understand more about the Electro Interstitial Scanning before I make an appointment with you. How can this help with my health?

A: As part of my initial assessment, an EIS TECH interstitial scanner scans all patients. It is a state of the art new computer based technology that employs noninvasive bioelectrical monitoring at the cellular level.

It allows me to measure heart rate, oxygen consumption and energy expenditure that the body undergoes.

The information can be obtained in less than 5 minutes.

Heart rate variability (HRV) measurement allows us to predict stress level and is therefore used as stress management monitoring device.

It also allows me to measure brain activities. I have used this as a designated medical device for the monitoring of ADHD and bipolar depression. It is also medically used for monitoring hypo/hyperthyroidism. The readings gathers are used to monitor the effectiveness of treatment.

I can also measure water and fat composition as well as lean body mass. This system is a valuable tool for all my weight loss patients.

It is also excellent for monitoring patients with metabolic syndrome as this becomes more prevalent in our society.
